Capitol Peak is considered the most difficult “14er” (a mountain peak over 14,000 ft.) in Colorado. This painting is from a summer camping trip with friends. On the second day, a friend and I summited the peak from the NW Buttress, pictured on the right side of the mountain in this painting.
